My name is Ryan Argo, and I always get asked “What’s your favorite food to cook?” and my response is usually “What do you like to eat?”. I’ve never thought of myself as a chef that needs to be good at one specific style or type of food…but always wanting to share my passion and desire of delicious food with my guests.

One of my favorite things to do in the kitchen is to teach: how something is done, what flavors go well together, why we cook something a certain way, discuss innovative ways to create something classic, or just perfecting the basics.

My obsession for bourbon went from collecting it to pairing it with the food we create at Limited Release Test Kitchen. I’ve always noticed that restaurants will do wine pairings with their meals, sometimes beer, but never bourbon. So I came up with the idea that my guests and I create a delicious meal together while we sip on bourbons that I believe pair with the courses.
